The story
A recently divorced couple are still constantly arguing when a chain of unlikely circumstances brings a group of people to their summer residence. Among them are a petty crook who has been wrongly convicted and is on the run, his pregnant girlfriend, and the friend by whom she is expecting. An economics minister has been taken hostage, while his secret lover is also a police inspector. A policewoman, meanwhile, is unhappily in love with her colleague. The wife’s lover has already chilled champagne in anticipation. With disorganized police units surrounding the house, the gathered group finds itself caught in a volatile standoff of personal tensions.
