Ana Santos is an ambitious intern in the New York art world who is invited on a trip to London after catching a typo in an auction. While traveling, she is upgraded to first class and meets William, a wealthy man. She accidentally misleads him into believing she is a high-level art director. As they spend time together in London, she continues the charade, even attending a party with his mother, a celebrity. The deception is nearly exposed when her boss, Claire, arrives unexpectedly, but Ana manages to escape. However, the truth eventually comes out when William discovers her true status and breaks off their relationship, believing she used him for her career. After confessing the truth to William's mother, Catherine, she is rehired and successfully manages a major sale. She reconciles with William, who admits he liked her for her character, not her status.
