A 12-year-old city boy expects a boring summer after his family moves to a small farm, but the countryside proves less peaceful than he imagined.
The story
Twelve-year-old Petter and his family leave the city for a small farm, where they must spend the summer because his mother is going to work as a holiday relief worker. The farm has no mobile phone coverage, and Petter expects the vacation to be sad and boring. His first impression of the countryside as a peaceful, harmonious place does not hold up, however. The available plot description establishes the move and Petter’s expectations, then hints that rural life will bring an unexpected conflict without explaining what happens next.
