A transport inspector’s final supervised train trip turns into a chaotic test of his hopes for a transfer.
The story
Sébastien, a professional transport inspector for the SNTF, dreams of transferring to the south of France. To secure approval, he must complete one final trip under the watch of Madeleine, an inspector who keeps him close. The journey quickly becomes far less routine than expected: the driver behaves as though he is piloting a fighter jet, while Simon, a jealous colleague who lost out on Sébastien’s job because of Madeleine, is also aboard. Surrounded by unruly passengers, Sébastien faces what may become the worst trip of his life as the supposedly simple formality spirals into chaos.
