Wen küsst die Braut? (2002)

Nothing seems to stand in the way of Beate’s happiness: she is going to marry Uwe, an animal keeper. But to her surprise, at a bachelorette party she receives an invitation to a quiz show hosted by Arabella. She wins a weekend in Mallorca with the famous pop star Berry. She accepts the prize, but is glad when the weekend with the star is over, because she simply felt uncomfortable with him and the whole atmosphere. Berry had apparently only been interested in shooting a new music video on the Spanish island anyway, and Beate felt more like a nuisance. When she gets home, Beate resumes making wedding preparations, but Berry soon gets in her way again. While her future husband Uwe is in the hospital with a broken leg, however, Berry shows a completely different side of himself—he is much more human and considerate. As a result, the two grow closer, and Beate begins to doubt whether Uwe is the right choice for her future husband. Her doubts return when Berry suddenly stands her up at a meeting and keeps his distance from her in public. Perhaps Uwe really is the right one for her after all? She is uncertain again on her wedding day, and even after she and Uwe have arrived at the church, she ultimately decides in favor of pop star Berry. Beate rushes out of the church and just manages to meet up with Berry in time. Thus, her story ends happily.
