Wer ohne Schuld ist (2024)

The television film is set in Dornbach, where young adults get drunk at an evening gathering; occasional physical altercations break out. Paul Stiller attacks Adem Yildirim, who is now dating Paul’s former girlfriend, but Adem is then beaten to death with a stone by Fridolin Heiliger after a verbal altercation. Adem’s body is found the next morning. Paul, who works as a childcare worker, cannot remember anything the following morning, but his blackout and bloodstained T-shirt make him begin to have doubts. The police also consider him the perpetrator, investigate him, and temporarily take him into custody. The investigation is being handled in particular by Detective Inspector Anita Wild, who is herself from the village and remains traumatized by a revenge porn video that circulated there at the time. In the end, Pia Heiliger’s testimony establishes that her brother Fridolin was the perpetrator.
