Two FBI agents must go undercover as socialite women to protect two heiresses from a kidnapping plot.
The story
In New York City, FBI agent brothers Marcus and Kevin Copeland inadvertently ruin a drug bust. Their boss, Chief Elliott Gordon, offers them a reprieve if they safely escort sisters Brittany and Tiffany Wilson—the rich, shallow socialite daughters of the Wilson Cruiseliners CEO—to a weekend-long fashion event in the Hamptons. After a mishap causes the sisters to suffer minor facial cuts, they refuse to be seen with the agents. To maintain the mission, Kevin and Marcus use prosthetic disguises to impersonate the sisters, leading to a series of complications as they navigate the high-society world of the Hamptons while trying to evade a kidnapping plot.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
After a mishap leaves the real sisters Brittany and Tiffany Wilson with facial cuts, FBI agents Marcus and Kevin Copeland use prosthetics to impersonate them during a trip to the Hamptons. While the agents are being monitored by their own colleagues posing as hotel staff, they encounter various socialites and a basketball player. They eventually discover that the local socialite Warren Vandergeld is the mastermind behind a kidnapping plot. After a series of comedic mishaps and a tense confrontation at a fashion show, the truth is revealed. The real sisters appear, and a fight ensues with the kidnappers. The plot is foiled when the mastermind's confession is recorded by a reporter. The agents are eventually cleared of suspicion, and the sisters are saved.
