Full plot (contains spoilers)
Nick Wild is a recovering gambling addict working as a bodyguard in Las Vegas. He agrees to protect Cyrus Kinnick while Cyrus gambles. Meanwhile, Nick is approached by Holly, a professional escort who was raped and beaten by thugs belonging to a gangster named Danny DeMarco. Nick confronts DeMarco, overpowers him and his men, and Holly takes $50,000 from DeMarco's desk. Nick later takes Cyrus to a casino where Nick goes on a winning streak but suffers an anxiety attack and loses all his winnings, including his original $25,000, to a dealer friend, Cassandra. Cyrus, a self-made millionaire, wants Nick to mentor him. DeMarco's men later attempt to deliver Nick to DeMarco, but Nick fends them off. Nick meets with Baby, the mafia boss of Las Vegas, to settle the dispute. Nick tells Baby that DeMarco killed his own men to save face and bears a cut on his penis. When DeMarco refuses to prove Nick wrong, Nick returns to a diner where Cyrus offers him a check for $500,000 and a plane ticket to Corsica. When DeMarco's men appear, Cyrus provides a distraction, allowing Nick to escape to an alley. Nick kills the thugs and DeMarco with diner cutlery before accepting the check and ticket and driving out of Las Vegas.
