Wir tanzen um die Welt (1939)

The dancers from Jenny Hill’s school are among the most sought-after in their profession. On tour, Norma watches over the girls’ discipline with authority and empathy as the troupe’s “Captain.” But others envy the Jenny Hill troupe’s success. So the competition sets the attractive Harvey on the girls, intending him to sow discord among the dancers and split up the group. Thanks to Norma’s watchful eye, however, Harvey’s efforts come to nothing. Only when the agent Torstone appears on the scene and promises some of the dancers solo careers does the competition’s plan seem to succeed. But then Harvey, who has long since fallen in love with Norma, finds his conscience and decides to act.
