A group of metahumans must form an alliance to stop an extradimensional threat from conquering Earth.
The story
Following the activation of three Mother Boxes by the death of Superman, an extradimensional threat known as Steppenwolf arrives on Earth to claim them for the warlord Darkseid. To counter this threat, a group of heroes—including Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman, and the Flash—must unite. They must navigate internal conflicts and external dangers to secure the Mother Boxes and prevent the formation of 'the Unity,' a process that would devastate Earth and transform it into a copy of the realm of Darkseid. The team must work together to stop the invasion and protect the planet from being consumed by the forces of the New God.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
Thousands of years ago, Darkseid and his Parademons attempted to invade Earth using three Mother Boxes to form 'the Unity.' The invasion was stopped by an alliance of various beings, and the boxes were hidden. Millennia later, Superman's death reactivates the boxes, attracting Steppenwolf. Diana Prince and Bruce Wayne begin assembling a team of metahumans, recruiting Arthur Curry, Barry Allen, and Victor Stone. They discover the boxes can rearrange matter and use one to resurrect Superman. After a period of disorientation, Superman joins the fight. The team travels to the city of Pozharnov to stop Steppenwolf from forming the Unity. With the help of the Flash's time-travel abilities, they successfully stop the process and defeat Steppenwolf. Following the battle, the heroes establish a base of operations while Superman resumes his life in Metropolis. The film concludes with a glimpse into the future, where a battle-hardened Bruce Wayne faces a threat from Darkseid, while Lex Luthor and Slade Wilson plot in the shadows.
