Zapreshchennaya realnost (2009)

2008. Counterintelligence officers Matvey Sobolev and Georgy Kurylo were once partners. According to official reports, the plane Matvey was aboard crashes in midair while transporting the latest psychotronic weapon. The pilot miraculously survives the crash on Lake Baikal. After falling from the exploding aircraft, he comes away with injuries, but decides to leave the game so he will no longer be a pawn in the hands of the powerful. More than four years pass. It is the eve of Russia’s presidential election. News disrupts Sobolev’s quiet life: the weapon has ended up in the hands of an organization that wants to seize power in the country, and then throughout the world. The organization is led by his former partner, now an influential oligarch, Kurylo. It also turns out that Matvey’s girlfriend, Kristina, a journalist, is somehow involved in the affair. Now Matvey is the only one who can stop the catastrophe. Gradually, he realizes that forces existing beyond the human world are behind these events. In his struggle against them, Matvey finds wise protectors who help him develop superhuman abilities. He must overcome pain and fear, enter the Inner Circle of the Guardians, and understand that the path to the light lies only through true Love. He must also play a decisive role in the battle between the higher forces of Good and Evil.
