Zwanzig Mädchen und die Pauker (1971)

High school student Trixie would most like to become an actress. Since she thinks the wait until graduation is far too long, she does everything she can to get expelled as quickly as possible. After she cements the teachers’ lounge keyhole shut and the fire department has to rescue the teaching staff, she is expelled for the third time. But the acting career she longs for at Theater Director Klobaster’s company will have to wait yet again. Trixie’s strict father promptly places her in the care of her uncle Theobald, headmaster of a secondary school in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. But Aunt Adele, his supposedly strict-morals sister, whose boarding house for students becomes Trixie’s new home, proves to be an excellent source of ideas for new school pranks. After a series of further jokes, Uncle Theobald sends Trixie to Dr. Klaus Höllriegel’s “Institute for Special Education” for remedial lessons. The attractive educator clearly makes an impression on Trixie, while Theater Director Klobaster is meanwhile facing serious financial difficulties. Will the rebellious student finally come to her senses after all?
