Zwei Wochen Chef (2007)

Sara works as a sales assistant in a fashion boutique. When it becomes known that her branch is due to close, she decides, being the bold person she is, to give the company’s board a piece of her mind. When she arrives at the company’s headquarters, she is initially turned away. Thanks to her persistence, she manages to reach the boardroom floor, but is immediately mistaken for Constanze Sernau, a woman who was recently appointed to the company’s board. Sara takes advantage of this situation to find out the real reasons behind the decision to close her branch. She realizes that, with the new authority she has been given, she might be able to save her job and those of her colleagues. But in her zeal, she becomes increasingly entangled in deeply rooted practices within the company, some of them illegal. For example, inferior fabric is sold as high-quality merchandise in the company’s boutiques. Company executives who had known nothing about these schemes are also implicated. When Sara tries to expose the fraud, her disguise is discovered.
