Later, suspicious of a Middle Eastern man carrying a musical-instrument case, she begins following him and intrudes into his life.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

It tells the story of Allegra (a fictional character), who survived the attack in Marrakech on April 28, 2011, in which seventeen people lost their lives, including the three friends who were with her. Physically devastated by her injuries and emotionally devastated by the psychological trauma and grief she suffered, we follow her story through a series of flashbacks: life before the terrible event, her passion for climbing with her friends, and the work she loved. Then comes the journey to the Atlas Mountains and the explosion at the Café Argana in Marrakech. Her stay in intensive care, the long and painful rehabilitation, the ordeal of being the only survivor, the loss of her friends, and the grief of their families. Then, one day, she grows suspicious of a Middle Eastern man carrying a musical-instrument case. She begins to follow him and intrudes into his life, but when she gets to know him, she discovers a very different reality: he is a refugee who has suffered a fate similar to hers. The film is loosely inspired by the true story of a young woman from Ticino, the only survivor among four friends who were at the Café Argana on the day of the bombing, and who recently published an autobiography.
