Anders and Sylvia are about to get married, but when they reach the altar, Sylvia says no and runs away. The couple later reconcile and try again, but this time Anders says no. Sylvia’s parents get involved, and the couple try to marry a third time, but the priest refuses to marry them, citing their earlier strange behavior. After being pressured, however, the wedding finally goes ahead.
