Star chef Ernst “Ernstl” gives up his gourmet restaurant and gets his own television cooking show. His older brother Ludwig “Wickerl,” newly released from prison, opens a restaurant of his own and falls in love with Iris, Ernstl’s former partner and the mother of his twins. Adrian has become a writer and has turned his brothers’ story into a novel of the same name. He also has personal problems: he has to choose between his longtime partner, Michael, and his new love, Daniel. When Michael throws him out, Adrian moves in with Wickerl at their old family home. Adrian also helps his older brother at the restaurant as a kitchen assistant. Ernst, who had previously had no intention of getting involved with Iris, now seems to be drawn to his former lover after all.
