The story
Shortly before retirement, Chief Inspector Konrad Hartwich is given an unusual case: a jogger has discovered the charred body of a diver in the woods. Hartwich is assisted by his young successor, Tobias Kutschke. The investigation grows more complicated the following day, when the jogger finds another corpse—a dismembered woman inside a red sports bag.
