Ein schrecklich reiches Paar (2017)

Millionaire’s wife Eva Klüber is stripped of all her assets as her divorce from her husband, Rainer, approaches. When the young couple Ida and Franz throw paint bombs at the Klübers’ house because Franz has lost his job as a result of Klüber’s investments, Eva Klüber stages her own kidnapping by the two in order to get her money after all. Worried sick about his wife, Klüber, whose company is now on the verge of bankruptcy, begs his friend Pepe for a sum in the millions. The couple eventually gets hold of the suitcase of money and treats themselves to a few pleasant days of luxury. Penniless, the Klübers spend the night in the couple’s modest home. There, Klüber helps build a boat and rediscovers an old passion. After a few physical altercations, Ida and Franz hand the bag full of money back to the Klübers. Some time later, Eva Klüber learns that her startup company has made her suddenly wealthy, and begins a new life with her husband.
