The story
Seventeen-year-old Mauser, an aspiring boxer, lives with his father and stepmother in a high-rise housing estate outside Hamburg. At an illegal rave, he falls in love with Jackie, who comes from one of the city’s wealthy neighborhoods. Meanwhile, Edda, a 21-year-old candy seller, has her eye on him.

Seventeen-year-old Mauser is an aspiring boxer who lives with his father, Zöllner, and his stepmother, Laura, in a high-rise housing estate in a suburb of Hamburg. At an illegal rave, he falls in love with Jackie, who comes from one of the city’s wealthy neighborhoods. At the same time, however, the 21-year-old candy seller Edda has her eye on him. As if Mauser didn’t already have enough on his plate, his father suddenly murders his stepmother and then turns to Mauser for advice.
