Familien Jul i nissernes land (2016)

Thanks to the little elf Pixy, the whole family learned to look forward to Christmas. During his last visit a year ago, Pixy left his elf hat at Hugo’s house. Now that he has returned to visit Hugo, he naturally wants his hat back, along with the magical elf orb inside it. He is glad the orb has made it through the year at Hugo’s house in one piece, but then Hugo drops it and it shatters. As a result, Pixy not only loses his magical powers, but also begins to age rapidly. Hugo is determined to travel with Pixy to the land of the elves so he can be helped there. Elf girl Pixili comes to their aid, and with her help, Hugo and his two siblings travel north to the land of the elves. When the children arrive in the elf village, they learn that Hugo must put the shattered orb in the “Magic Pot,” where it can be made whole again. But no one knows where the pot is. The map that could show them the way cannot be read unless Pixy and Hugo become friends again. Pixy is angry because Hugo’s clumsiness has left him unable to do magic, and the other elves are making fun of him for growing old. But when they have to stand up to the evil elf Evol, they make up and can now read the map. However, after Evol turns Hugo’s brother Alfred into a reindeer and his sister also falls victim to the evil magic, Hugo must go alone into the deep forest to look for the “Magic Pot.” But Evol and the other evil elves capture all four of them and lock them in a shed. Hugo nevertheless finds a way to escape and break Evol’s magic orb. This releases the evil magic inside it, and Alfred turns back into a boy. Pixy is the only one who has not yet been saved, so Hugo keeps looking for the “Magic Pot” and finds it in a cabin. The orb can be repaired there, and Pixy gets his magical powers back. The three siblings are taken back to the human world in a reindeer sleigh, and Hugo’s parents are overjoyed to have their children home safe and sound. Now they can happily celebrate Christmas. When the doorbell suddenly rings, Pixy’s whole family is standing at the door, thanking them for saving him. Pixili even gives Hugo an elf orb of his own, and Alfred is given a set of reindeer antlers. Late that night, the elves return to their land, and Hugo is already looking forward to Christmas next year.
