Full plot (contains spoilers)
Alice is hired as a second engineer aboard a merchant ship. She temporarily leaves Félix, her partner, to spend a few months at sea on an assignment. Shortly after departure, she makes two troubling discoveries: her predecessor died at sea and left behind a notebook in which he recounts the crew’s daily life in detail; and the ship is commanded by Gael, Alice’s first great love. As the voyage goes on, and communication with Félix, who has stayed ashore, is not always possible, Alice is confronted with professional and romantic dilemmas.
