A con artist assembles a team to avenge his murdered friend by deceiving the criminal responsible.
The story
Nick Hezard is a skilled con artist whose closest friend is killed by Robert Clark and his henchmen. Determined to avenge him, Nick enlists his mother to help assemble a team of fellow con artists and devise a scheme against the shady criminal. Their plan is designed to make Clark pay the group a large sum of money, and it centers on an elaborate deception. The initial setup pits Nick’s team against a powerful criminal, with the revenge plot depending on their ability to make Clark believe what they want him to believe.

Nick Hezard is a skilled con artist whose best friend is killed by Robert Clark and his henchmen. Determined to avenge him, Nick enlists his mother’s help to put together a team of con artists and set up a con against the shady criminal. The scheme first forces Clark to pay the con artists a huge sum of money, then stages a girl’s murder, followed by a mock trial against Clark. He falls for the trap and is forced to flee to Venezuela, in exchange, however, for the sum of money paid to him by the insurance companies.
