The story
Pippi has moved into Villa Villekulla with her gold coins and begins getting to know Tommy and Annika. She also meets Miss Prysselius, the policemen Kling and Klang, and the crooks Dunder-Karlsson and Blom.

Pippi has moved into Villa Villekulla with her gold coins and gets to know Tommy and Annika, Miss Prysselius, the less intelligent policemen Kling and Klang, and the crooks Dunder-Karlsson and Blom. Pippi causes chaos at a coffee party and flies in a hot-air balloon. She also meets her father, Efraim Longstocking. Pippi had planned to go with him to the South Seas, but when she sees how sad Tommy and Annika are, she changes her mind and stays home instead.
