After one half-brother is arrested for burning a neighbor’s field, the other re-enters his life, creating a chance for them to build a relationship.
The story
Dario and Mario are half-brothers who have met only once. Dario lives in a village in the Polesine region, while Mario lives in Rome. They have responded differently to their father’s abandonment: Dario idealized him and drew on his teachings to believe in dreams, while Mario took a more realistic approach. When Dario burns a neighbor’s field and is arrested, Mario returns to his brother’s life. The arrest brings the estranged brothers together and gives them an opportunity to get to know one another and begin building the relationship they never had the chance to have.
