Full plot (contains spoilers)
Suzanne Hartman is a withdrawn twelve-year-old girl with no friends, unnoticed at school. Her only escape is fantasy superhero comics. But after an accident in the laboratory of her mother, scientist Maria Hartman, who is working with the fantastic liquid NT26D—a veritable cure-all for serious illnesses—Sue unexpectedly acquires a unique ability: whenever her body temperature rises, she becomes invisible. With her new superpower, Sue finds friends in Kaya, nicknamed App, a young genius in cybernetics and robotics, and Toby, a stunt cyclist who falls in love with Suzanne. When Maria Hartman is kidnapped right before her daughter’s eyes, Sue, Kaya, and Toby join forces to find out what happened to Sue’s mother, what role Maria’s mysterious boss, Dr. Drill, who is pursuing the friends, plays in it, and who needs the race to obtain the NT26D in Sue Hartman’s blood—and, above all, for what purpose. It turns out that in other people’s blood, the substance that has “passed through” Sue causes entirely different superpowers. For instance, one of the antagonists, scientist Lena Romanova, begins to change her appearance, while Kaya gains the ability to fly. After a series of exciting chases and adventures, the three friends expose the real culprit: Kaya’s aunt Laura, who once taught Lena and Maria at university. The elderly scientist’s only goal was to profit financially from selling the unique drug, for which Suzanne’s blood was to serve as the raw material. During a confrontation with Laura, whose people take Sue’s parents and friends hostage, the girl is forced to inject herself with the antidote created by her mother, which strips the Invisible Girl of her superpowers. Nevertheless, it turns out that the antidote only disables her invisibility temporarily. At the end of the film, the superhero Fantastic Three, led by the Invisible Girl Sue, stand on the roof of a high-rise building, ready for new adventures.
