Full plot (contains spoilers)
In 1938, Victoria (Bárbara Goenaga) and her son Raúl (Álex Bermúdez) are imprisoned at Saturrarán Prison, located in Motrico (Guipúzcoa), because she is the widow of a Republican. There, she will witness impassively one of the events that will define the lives of the female prisoners: 48 children abducted and given up for adoption to Francoist families, all under the auspices of the Mother Superior, nicknamed the White Panther (Itziar Lazkano), and the macabre theories of Dr. Vallejo (Patxi Santamaría). The mothers, led by Victoria, tried to take revenge. In the end, 107 female inmates died during the revolt, but at least they ensured that these acts would not be lost to memory.
