The story
On the campus of an elite university, investigator Anna Winter looks into the death of a young woman, trying to determine whether she took her own life or was murdered. Her progress is slow, and although she feels close to a breakthrough, she still lacks the evidence to solve the case. Her team worries that she is becoming too absorbed in the investigation. At the same time, Anna is uncertain about her romantic feelings for two colleagues: lawyer Phillip Rothkamm and former police officer Marco Lorenz.

On the campus of an elite university, Anna Winter must solve the murder of a young woman. Surrounded by students who are primarily focused on their own careers, she investigates whether the woman took her own life or was murdered. Anna Winter is making little progress with her investigation, yet she has the feeling that she is very close to a breakthrough. But she still lacks the evidence needed to solve the case. Anna Winter’s team suspects that she is becoming too wrapped up in the case. Her love life is also under scrutiny: she simply cannot decide between her colleagues, the lawyer Phillip Rothkamm and former police officer Marco Lorenz. In the end, however, events come thick and fast, and Anna has to rely on both of them to solve the case.
