A divorcing couple who cannot live together but do not want to separate completely devise an unconventional arrangement to keep their family connected.

After ten years living together and having two children, Romane and Philippe decide to divorce, but at the same time they do not want to separate completely. No longer able to live together, they come up with an unusual solution: they buy two apartments connected by a shared corridor, so that each can have their own privacy, while the children, who in practice are with their mother, can move freely between their parents and feel the trauma of their parents’ separation less.
