The story
After losing his wife in a car accident, former police officer Gabriel is struggling to make ends meet when a former informant connects him with a mysterious organization. Gabriel is hired to transport briefcases internationally from a nearly empty office, on one strict condition: he must never open them. The work pays well, allowing him to improve life for himself and his young daughter, a trumpet student. But he never sees the people he deals with, and the job begins to wear away at their relationship.

Gabriel, a former police officer who is broke and barely getting by since losing his wife in a car accident, is hired by a mysterious organization through one of his former informants. Set up in an office almost as empty as the building that houses it, he is entrusted with transporting briefcases internationally, with just one instruction: never open them. Handsomely paid and never seeing the people he deals with, he can improve life for himself and his daughter, a young student of the trumpet, but his work wears away at their relationship. Everything goes wrong when one of the cases is stolen and someone is killed. Gabriel tries to quit, but is forced to investigate and seeks to find the people who hired him with the help of Claire, an archivist at the police department.
