The story
Javier Falcón, head of Homicide at the National Police in Seville, must resolve two cases within a short time. One concerns the fallout from an espionage operation in which he is personally involved: an old friend infiltrated an Islamic terrorist cell, which now plans to recruit the friend’s teenage son. At the same time, Falcón is investigating the Russian mafia and confronting the kidnapping of a child. The kidnappers will release the child only if Falcón pays a price described as too high, putting pressure on him as the two cases demand his attention.
