La sorella di Ursula (1978)

After their father’s death, sisters Dagmar and Ursula retreat to a hotel on the Amalfi Coast during the off-season, hoping to get through their period of deep grief. Ursula in particular is badly affected and seems agitated and depressed. The hotel is run by the married couple Roberto and Vanessa. Unfortunately, the atmosphere proves anything but peaceful: the hotel is involved in shady drug and prostitution operations. Roberto is also very jealous of his wife, who routinely cheats on him, but he too cheats on Vanessa, with Stella, a young singer at the nightclub next door to the hotel. After the two sisters arrive, several girls in the town begin to be murdered, including Stella. The connection shared by all the victims is rather peculiar: each of the murdered girls had had sex shortly before. In the end, it is revealed that Ursula is the killer, suffering from a very serious personality disorder. The police intervene just in time, before Ursula can kill Dagmar too. It is then revealed that, as in the previous murders, the weapon used is an ancient wooden fetish that is nothing other than a sculpture of a large phallus. After being discovered, Ursula dies by falling from a window of the guesthouse.
