The story
In 1919, Arsène Muselier, a young farmer who disappeared during the war, reappears in his village, astonishing its residents. Before the village can settle into the news of his return, another rumor unsettles it: la Vouivre, described as the madwoman of the waters, has appeared. People say she has returned with her diamond to tempt men. Arsène sets out to uncover the mystery surrounding this strange figure, as his return and the strange report stir the village.

1919. Arsène Muselier, a young farmer who disappeared in the war, reappears in the village one day, to everyone’s great astonishment. But another piece of news throws the village into turmoil: the appearance of “la Vouivre,” the madwoman of the waters, who, it is said, has returned with her diamond to tempt men. Arsène will try to uncover the mystery of this strange creature.
