The story

Moussa is a gentle, kind man, devoted to his children and his work. Divorced and remarried to a Moroccan woman who has stopped answering his calls, he clears out her belongings. His brother Ryad presents a football television show, while other relatives feel he is self-centered. At a colleague’s birthday celebration, Moussa falls and hits his head. Doctors diagnose a head injury, after which his personality changes. He begins sharply criticizing his devoted sister Samia and clashes with his daughter Nesrine over the cost of her studies in Canada and with his son Amir over video games, creating tension throughout the family.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

Moussa (Sami Bouajila) is a gentle, kind man, a devoted father and employee. Divorced, he has remarried a Moroccan woman who no longer answers his phone calls. So he empties his closets of her belongings and considers getting rid of them. His brother Ryad (Roschdy Zem) hosts a television show about football. His family reproaches him for his self-centeredness. One evening, while celebrating a colleague’s birthday, Moussa falls and hits his head hard. The doctors diagnose a head injury. His personality then changes completely. He harshly criticizes his devoted sister Samia, who is constantly called upon by those around her but can sometimes be a little overbearing. He also falls out with his daughter Nesrine, whose studies in Canada he considers too expensive, and with his son Amir, whom he thinks is addicted to video games. He gets angry with Samia and his brother Salah, who have donated his Moroccan wife’s clothes to a charity, even though he had initially agreed to it. His outbursts sow discord within the family, especially since Ryad sides with Moussa. Ryad takes advantage of a work trip to bring Moussa to Normandy for a few days. Moussa’s condition improves; he accepts that his Moroccan marriage has failed and obtains a divorce. The family gradually finds a new balance.
