A young man in love with his companion recounts the pranks that filled his school years.
The story
After completing his secondary-school examinations, Ludwig is asked to accompany Lilly, the daughter of Commercial Councillor Klausing, as a mountain guide while the family travels through Bavaria. Ludwig is in love with Lilly, and during their time together he tells her about the many pranks he has played. He has even written about these escapades in his German graduation essay. The film presents the pranks he recounts through flashbacks drawn from the earlier entries in the Lausbubengeschichten series.

Commercial Councillor Klausing travels through Bavaria with his wife and daughter Lilly. Ludwig, who has just completed his secondary-school examinations, is asked to accompany the latter as a mountain guide. On this occasion, Ludwig, who is in love with Lilly, tells her about his many pranks, which he also wrote about in his German graduation essay. The pranks he recounts are shown in the film as flashbacks to the corresponding scenes from the previous four films in the Lausbubengeschichten series.
