The story
In France in 2010, the Yenish brothers Fred, Mickaël and Jason are reunited after Fred’s release from fifteen years in prison. Their camp, increasingly drawn to Pentecostalism, views Fred’s return as a thief with unease, while the youngest brother, Jason, is preparing for baptism and admires Fred. Penniless, Fred learns that a nearby warehouse has received a 25-tonne load of copper. Seeing an opportunity, he gets behind the wheel of his Alpina and brings Mickaël, Jason and their cousin Moïse along for a nighttime raid to steal the cargo.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
In France in 2010, three Yenish brothers are reunited: Fred, the eldest, who has just been released after fifteen years in prison; Mickaël, the middle brother, impulsive and distrustful; and Jason, the youngest, who has just come of age. The members of their camp, increasingly drawn to Pentecostalism, look unfavourably on the return of this “thief,” just as Jason is preparing for his baptism. Jason admires his brother. Now penniless, Fred is told about a 25-tonne truckload of copper that has recently arrived at a nearby warehouse. For Fred, it’s the perfect opportunity: he gets behind the wheel of his Alpina, takes his two brothers and their cousin Moïse along, and sets off on a nighttime raid to steal the cargo…
