Matratzen-Tango (1973)

Ugo Domani has ended up in Germany as a guest worker and works for the city’s garbage collection service. A perpetually horny womanizer, he is always sexually charged and longs for German women. The pretty young Ursula has especially caught his eye. But given his social background, he has no chance with the civil servant’s daughter, and her father is not very enthusiastic about him either. Ugo refuses to give up and tries to put his other great passion, cycling, to good use in his pursuit of Ursula’s heart and bed. He believes that being a successful racing cyclist will give him much better chances, so he doesn’t turn down an offer to take part in the next six-day race. Unfortunately, there’s a catch, and it’s a serious one. They drum it into him: “From now on, no sex! You’d lose too much energy that you urgently need for the race!” But Ugo wouldn’t be a caricature of an Italian sex stud if he couldn’t do both at once—especially since his housemates are constantly at it like rabbits all around him. The manager of a rival cyclist even siccs specially hired bed-bunnies on him to challenge Ugo’s sexual abstinence and finally wear him down. Soon Ugo can think of nothing but sex, sex, sex … and, of course, Ursula. In the end, there’s a happy ending after all.
