Full plot (contains spoilers)
Mirian (Ingrid Guimarães) and Mirelly (Tatá Werneck) are two sisters born in Rio Verde, in the interior of Goiás. They never fulfilled their mother Dona Márcia’s (Arlete Salles) wish for them to become a sertanejo duo, and their lives took opposite directions. Mirian chose to stay in her hometown, adapting to the calm pace of life in the countryside and devoting herself to caring for her family: her husband, Jayme (Márcio Vito); their children, Jayme Júnior (Jaffar Bambirra) and Marcelly (Nina Baiocchi); and her mother. Mirelly, on the other hand, appears to lead a glamorous life on social media alongside famous friends such as Lázaro Ramos and Iza, but in reality she is struggling financially, lives in a small apartment, and works as a pet sitter for celebrities. The story unfolds when Mirelly returns to Rio Verde to celebrate Dona Márcia’s birthday at a lavish party organized by Mirian. After the sisters have a fight, Dona Márcia mysteriously disappears, leading Mirian and Mirelly to overcome their differences and set off on a hilarious adventure along the roads of the Goiás countryside to find their mother.
