Full plot (contains spoilers)
The mixed-breed dog Willy Wuff heads to Fuerteventura after receiving an urgent distress call from his brother Ricky. Their other brother, Rocco, is missing, and Ricky can’t perform in their dog show on his own. For Willy, the trip is a return to his roots: four years earlier, their human friend Ralle had saved him and his brothers’ lives. While Willy had wanted to go out and see the world, his brothers stayed with Ralle. First, Willy has to fill in for his brother so Ralle won’t lose income. But his new boss insists on having Rocco, so Willy has to hurry up and track down his missing brother. To do that, he teams up with young Andi, who is on holiday at the hotel with his mother but isn’t very happy because his parents have fallen out. Willy promises to help him put things right if Andi helps him find Rocco. Their first clue leads them into the mountains and from there all the way to the sea. Willy actually finds his brother sitting on a cliff. The secret is that Rocco has fallen in love, but the object of his affection won’t give him the time of day. So he ran away and followed her all the way there. Willy convinces him that an arrogant dog “bimbo” like her isn’t right for him. The two brothers return to Ralle together, who is delighted to be able to work at the hotel with his dog show under a new contract. Andi’s father is gradually making progress in his efforts to win Daniela over. In the process, he has had to keep dealing with a rival who is courting his wife. In the end, however, with Willy’s help, he manages to stand up to the man. Daniela realizes that Tom is truly sincere and will take better care of his family from now on.
