Ooru naito rongu 3: Saishuu-shô (1996)

Kikuo Sawada is a university student who works part-time at a love hotel. His hobby is growing carnivorous plants. One day, Kikuo steals a garbage bag that Hitomi has thrown away and comes to enjoy snooping on her life. Then a man named Kawasaki, who calls himself a “Dust Hunter” (that is, a scavenger) and is a former revolutionary fighter, appears before him. When Kikuo accepts his invitation and visits his home, he finds countless files containing personal information about the people who own the garbage. Kikuo, too, begins gathering personal information about Hitomi from her trash. One day, Kikuo’s friends rape a high school girl at a garbage dump, injure her, and flee. Kikuo takes the girl back to his home, examines her body, and compiles her personal information. Once he is done, he kills her, dismembers her, and goes to the garbage dump to dispose of her remains. There he meets Kawasaki, who advises him that he should burn them instead. Kikuo then also kills Kawasaki and steals his gun. Hitomi comes to the love hotel where Kikuo works with a man. Kikuo, who has an abnormal love for her, is shocked and goes to the supermarket where she works. She is not there, but Kikuo brutally murders her coworker…
