A baker finds herself in a slim body as a fitness-center manager suddenly becomes extremely heavy, disrupting his contempt for overweight people.

The story

Nick, once teased for his heavy build, is now a toned fitness-center manager who has developed an aversion to overweight people. Eva, a somewhat plump baker at the hotel above his gym, wins a training session with him and experiences that aversion firsthand. After she submits negative feedback, a gust of wind catches the form; trying to retrieve it, she falls from the hotel roof. When she comes to, Eva finds herself in a slim body, while Nick has simultaneously become extremely heavy. Drawing on her own experiences, Eva supports him as he adjusts to the sudden change.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

Nick, who was teased by others throughout his childhood and adolescence because of his heavy build, is now a grown man with a toned body and the manager of a fitness center. Women fall at his feet, and he has developed an aversion to overweight people. Eva, who is somewhat plump, is a baker at the hotel located above Nick’s fitness center. Eva’s boyfriend, Paul, is uncomfortable with her fuller figure. By chance, Eva is the one who wins a prize drawing for a training session with Nick, where she immediately experiences his aversion to overweight people. She fills out the satisfaction questionnaire with negative feedback, but a gust of wind catches it. As she tries to retrieve the form, she falls from the hotel roof. When she comes to below, she suddenly finds herself in a slim body. Somehow, a miracle must have happened, because at the same time, Nick, who used to be toned, now weighs 180 kilograms and even makes chairs collapse when he sits on them. From then on, Nick suffers not only from his sudden weight gain, but also from the pitying looks of the people he meets. Yet Eva is the person who supports him through his situation, thanks to her own experiences. When Eva, in her slim body, falls in love with Benjamin, an attractive newspaper reporter, Nick initially believes he has lost her too. However, Eva realizes that deep down, she loves Nick. She rushes to the fitness center, which has since gone bankrupt, and finds Nick sitting alone on the hotel parapet. In the meantime, Nick has also realized that he has placed too much importance on other people’s appearances. Eva sits beside Nick on the parapet, and the two grow closer. Just before they kiss, they fall from the parapet down into the depths. Nick is slim again afterward, while Eva has regained her fuller figure. When Eva looks at Nick’s once-again-slim face, she remarks that everything is back to the way it was. Nick denies it and kisses her. The story ends romantically, with Nick and Eva walking arm in arm through Vienna’s old town, where Nick tells Eva that “a man without a belly is like a sky without stars.”
