David, 30, is writing the script for his new film, drawing on his Jewish roots, childhood, adolescence, relationship with his parents, and memories of the family home in Jullouville. His live-in girlfriend, Anna, dislikes the screenplay and leaves him.

David, 30, is working on the script for his new film. In it, he evokes his Jewish roots, his childhood, his adolescence, his relationship with his parents, and his memories of the family home in Jullouville. His girlfriend, Anna, who lives with him, dislikes his screenplay and leaves him. The two nevertheless meet again in Jullouville when David’s mother dies. He has revised his screenplay and is going to make his film with Hélène, his former love, who is now a star.
