The story
Lucrèce is a contract killer whose passion for opera is matched by her skill with poisons. She is assigned a delicate job in Switzerland during the Ermeux Festival: posing as an opera singer, she must kill Alexander Child, a British baritone whose opposition obstructs a British Oil pipeline project. The company has turned to murder after losing its court case against him. But Lucrèce faces a serious obstacle in Rico, an agent sent by French counterintelligence to infiltrate the orchestra and prevent an attempt on Child’s life.
