A French tour group’s American West holiday turns into a crisis when their travel company collapses, leaving an unprepared guide in charge.
The story
A group of French tourists embarks on a trip through the American West with the Paris agency Dream Tour, hoping to visit cities such as Las Vegas and Los Angeles and take in the region’s natural attractions. Claire, an intern journalist, is among the travelers; she has been assigned to observe how the “average French person” behaves abroad. Soon after the group arrives in the United States, their tour operator goes bankrupt. With no assistance plan in place, the manager leaves the tourists with a resourceful young guide who has no money and is unprepared to handle the sudden crisis.

A group of French tourists sets off on a trip through the American West with the Paris travel agency Dream Tour, planning to visit cities like Las Vegas and Los Angeles and discover the most beautiful natural sites this part of the world has to offer. Among them is Claire, an intern journalist tasked with studying the behavior of the “average French person” abroad. But barely has the group arrived in “Uncle Sam’s” country when the tour operator suddenly goes bankrupt. Apparently in violation of the law and with no assistance plan in place, its manager abandons the tourists in the care of a resourceful young guide who is penniless and entirely unprepared to deal with this kind of situation.
