Schemer (2010)

In a group of six high school students, there are two couples: Caesar and Ilse, and Rico and Frauk. There is also Mick, who is not interested in women and is secretly more attracted to Caesar, and Jessie. The other five are all annoyed with Jessie because she lies, stirs up trouble in the two relationships, shows a confusing pattern of seduction and rejection, and is sometimes lazy and condescending. They decide to murder her during a short drive. They agree that Ilse will put pills in her cola beforehand to make her drowsy; Caesar gives her the pills—they are medicine prescribed for his sick mother, whom he cares for. Ilse changes her mind and throws the pills away; she also does not go along. Frauk has the car stop because she does not want to continue either; she urges Rico to get out too, but he goes on. Mick and Caesar strangle Jessie with their hands and a rope. When they arrive at a small beach, they tell Rico off for not doing anything, and he then helps carry her. It turns out she is still alive, so Mick picks up a large stone, but Caesar thinks it is too much to smash her skull with it, and kills her by suffocation instead. While Rico and Mick wrap the body in plastic, Caesar cheerfully calls Ilse to tell her they succeeded. Rico can’t take it anymore and walks home. Caesar and Mick dump the body in the water and embrace, pleased with what they have done. To keep up appearances, they help search for the missing girl. Eventually, Caesar fishes out the body and lays it on the beach, where it is found during the next search. At the funeral, Mick addresses the mourners. Afterwards, they compliment him on his moving speech. Caesar finds it difficult to deal with, and snaps at Ilse. Ilse tells the police everything, leading to arrests.
