Mais vous êtes fous (2019)

Roman (Pio Marmaï) and Camille (Céline Sallette) are a modern, loving couple with their two young daughters, Bianca and Lucie. But Roman is hiding a serious cocaine addiction: he has been using the drug every day for several years. One day, one of their daughters suffers a severe epileptic seizure and is saved just in time. The hospital finds traces of cocaine in the little girl’s blood and alerts the police. An investigation is opened, and, to Roman’s own shock, they are told that the whole family has been contaminated—and has been for a long time. Although Roman is the main suspect in the alleged intentional poisoning, both parents immediately lose custody of the girls. Camille and Roman, both confused and unable to understand what is happening, nevertheless remain united through this ordeal. But the lawyer tells Camille that she has a chance of getting her daughters back only if she separates from Roman, just as he, in the midst of detox and remorse, is already being condemned and rejected by his in-laws and friends.
