Full plot (contains spoilers)

Sixteen-year-old Sonya spends the summer in the city. Things aren’t going well with her boyfriend, Anton, and her relationship with her mother is complicated. It would seem that Sonya has made all these problems up herself. After all, Anton really likes her, and her mother loves her and worries about her. But Sonya finds neither peace nor happiness in any of this. The only person who understands her is her friend Julia. It is with Julia that Sonya feels comfortable and at ease, and with her that she can open up most fully. However, realizing that her feelings for Julia go beyond friendship and have taken on a deeper meaning plunges Sonya into painful inner turmoil. This summer, she is destined to meet herself and begin to understand who she is, and what her feelings and desires are.
