After a New Year’s wish replaces mischievous Sasha with an obedient girl, her pets set out to find her in a land of strict rules.
The story
Sasha lives with her older brother, parents, grandparents, a cat, and a dog. On December 31, she manages to ruin the family’s New Year’s holiday and drive them all to their wits’ end. Her parents wish that Sasha would remain in the old year and that the new year would bring them a good girl. The wish sends an obedient replacement, Girl Number 1, to the family, while Sasha is dispatched to the Land of Good Children for re-education. There, obedient children live under strict teachers and a very strict queen. Sasha’s cat and dog recognize that the replacement is not her and set off to find her.

In one house lives a girl named Sasha with her older brother, their parents, their grandmother and grandfather, a cat, and a dog. One day, on December 31, Sasha drove her older brother, their parents, their grandmother and grandfather, the cat, and the dog to their wits’ end by managing to ruin their New Year’s holiday. On New Year’s Eve, her parents made a wish: that Sasha would remain in the old year, and that in the new year they would have a good girl. They were sent Girl Number 1 from the Land of Good Children, while Sasha was sent there for re-education. The land is home to obedient children, strict teachers, and a very strict queen. The cat (Baguette) and the dog (Blockhead) realized that this wasn’t Sasha, so they set off for the Land of Good Children. (It eventually turns out that this land is “Sunny Lantern…”)
