The story
Pablo hates everything until Lucía enters his life, seeming to be the woman of his dreams and the answer to all his problems. Their friends are not convinced Pablo and Lucía are an ideal couple; the friends are coupled up too and have problems of their own. Ariel and Lola face a professional rivalry they do not know how to resolve. Claudio lives with Natalia, though neither likes the arrangement, while the problem between Alejandro and Beatriz is their age difference.

Pablo (Coque Malla) hates everything until Lucía (Penélope Cruz) comes into his life. She is the woman of his dreams and the answer to all his problems. But with her manipulative nature, Lucía is nothing but the last straw that makes Pablo explode. No one is convinced that Pablo and Lucía are the ideal couple—not even Pablo’s friends, who are all coupled up too and have problems of their own. Ariel (Jordi Mollá) and Lola (Christina Rosenvinge) have a professional rivalry they don’t know how to resolve. Claudio (Gustavo Salmerón) lives with Natalia (Irene Bau), and neither of them likes the arrangement. The problem between Alejandro (Fernando Colomo) and Beatriz (Mónica López) is the age gap between them. No one is happy with their partner, but they will all let things carry on as they are, perhaps out of obligation, perhaps out of laziness.
