Traumfrauen (2015)

When Leni discovers that her boyfriend, with whom she had planned to move in together, is cheating on her, she seeks comfort at her sister Hannah’s shared apartment. Hannah’s roommate Vivienne tells Leni about her plan to sleep with as many men as possible in order to forget her heartbreak. That evening, the three women go to a club together, where Vivienne meets Peter. The quiet man takes her to his apartment; on the terrace overlooking Berlin, the two grow closer. Meanwhile, Hannah spots a popular colleague in the bar and tries to get closer to him. In the end, Leni has to put a drunk Hannah into a taxi, which takes her home. Leni meets the attractive Joseph, who is thrown out after an argument. Later, she meets the young musician Guy, who is interested in her and therefore claims that Joseph has left with someone else. The two grow closer in Guy’s hotel room. Leni’s mother, Margaux, is also struggling with heartbreak, having been left by Carl after many years of marriage for the young physiotherapist Birte. One evening, Carl shows up at the door and admits that he misses her. The two spend the night together. The next morning, she learns that her ex-husband still intends to stay with Birte. Hannah is fired, and Vivienne thinks she might be pregnant. Leni finds out that Guy has seven children. Peter makes it clear to Vivienne that, if she really is pregnant, he won’t leave her. All of Leni’s suitors return at the same time; she chooses Joseph.
