A young woman’s invented affair with her boss becomes a workplace rumor she and her friends scramble to contain.
The story
Delphine works at an advertising agency and, rather than admit that she is single, invents an affair with the agency director. Her private confidence soon spreads through the office, where colleagues fuss over her in hopes of winning the boss’s favor. As the rumor grows, Delphine and two friends try to keep the director from hearing it. Their task is complicated by the fact that the director really is having a secret adulterous affair, prompting the trio to devise several schemes to manage the escalating misunderstanding.
